Information and Support

Cancer diagnosis can be shocking. Something helpful to remember is that you’re already a cancer warrior.  Your body was busy fighting the disease before you even knew you had it, and diagnosis can be considered “day 1.”  For me, Day 1 was in November of 1991, so I’ve travelled far since then.

Here are some resources that can help in the days and weeks to come. While they’re at the bottom of the page, please check out the Facebook Groups available to help with your type of cancer.

Cancer Resources, Facebook Groups

I’ve tried to ensure the resources are active, but if they’re not, please let us know. Most of these groups will ask information about you to keep spammers and other unsavory, unhelpful types away. Please research further within Facebook – you may find something more specific to your needs.
