Cancer diagnosis can be shocking. Something helpful to remember is that you’re already a cancer warrior. Your body was busy fighting the disease before you even knew you had it, and diagnosis can be considered “day 1.” For me, Day 1 was in November of 1991, so I’ve travelled far since then.
